We operate throughout the year depending on what and where you want to hunt. With Rhinoland Safaris over 30 species of game including members of the big five are available as well as some animals which are only obtainable in South Africa such as blesbuck, white rhino, nyala, mountain zebra and many more. Generally the climate is pleasant, October and November being the hotter months of the hunting season. The months of June, July and August have cool nights and warm days.
The complete success of your safari is our prime concern. Through dedication, experience and perseverance we will organize your safari to meet your personal requirements.
Our professional hunters are members of the Professional Hunters Association of South Africa and are fully registered under South African law. They are highly experienced and know the bush and habits of the game intimately. They will go out of their way to provide proper and professional service while maintaining the highest standards for equipment, vehicles and field preparation of trophies.

Safaris can be custom-made to fit your individual needs and trophies you wish to take. The professional hunter will always seek the best trophies possible for his valued client.
The hunting day is normally split in two sessions, one in the early morning and the other in the afternoon. Hunting begins on foot or by vehicle but as soon as fresh tracks are discovered or trophy animals are spotted they are approached on foot which always provides an exciting challenge.
When an animal is shot it is immediately transported to the main camp to be skinned and treated in order to prepare the trophy properly for your taxidermist. Trophy fees are only payable for animals that are actually hunted but wounded animals are to be paid for in full. All animals listed on our trophy list can be hunted on a 5, 7, 10 and 14 day safari with no VAT (value added tax) payable on trophy fees.
