HUNT REPORT FROM JESUS AND SANDRA ELIZONDO
RHINOLAND SAFARIS SOUTH AFRICA
"Last September we had the opportunity to visit one of Africa's nicest hunting lodges called Rhinoland.  Since our arrival at the ranch we were greeted as friends and as our 7 day stayed progressed we felt as family.  We really enjoyed our home away from home.  Marius and his wife Heleen is truly a great couple overseeing that you are always taken care of the best way possible.  Amanda, our hostess, together with Rita our chef, gave us some of the best cooking and attention you can find.  The hunting at the ranch with so many trophy class species is done with the company of a great staff.  Our PH, Petrus is not only a great gentleman but also a knowledge guide and tracker.  Furthermore, every hunt ended with a very exhausting photo shoot carried out by our master photographer Petrus.  He and Joshua, our tracker, helped us bag some memorable times and wild game.  During only 4 days hunting, we harvested 10 impala, one blesbuck, 2 waterbuck and a 55 inch kudu.  During the other days that we spent there, we witness the capture of a black rhino, we were flown in Marius' helicopter to visit an elephant farm and also travel to Lephalale town, where we did a little shopping.  Incredible to accomplish so many thing is so little time, but this was possible because of the enthusiasm Marius has in your behalf.  Not to be forgotten were the barbecue in the bush, the sun-downers on a hill and the night barbecue did by Marius' son at the ranch.  In addition, every night was filled with great people, stories, log conversations, excellent food and drinks, specially the PH drink. We also treasure the time spent with Marius lovely family and Jana (the helicopter pilot) and her two lovely daughters.  These were memories that we will cherish forever! We congratulate all of Marius staff and family and thank them for an incredible time"

NEWSLETTER 11 - 2016

Dear Friends,

Can you believe it that 2017 is only a month away and Christmas will be in 26 days.

Right now, we are a mixture of very happy and very sad.  And we trying to figure it all out, all these feelings and emotions and words and thought and what they all mean. We are happy to have met so many new clients, now part of the Rhinoland friendship circle, happy to be blessed with a wonderful successful hunting season, happy that our rhino female is healthy after the poaching attempt on her and her baby, happy to get ready for our 2017 marketing and hunting season and most of all over the moon with happiness about the rain. Sad to see 2016 nearly at it's end and sad to hear that the rhino poaching situation is still out there.

Life as we know it in the bush: "WE ARE ALL CREATURES OF MOTHER EARTH."

Until next month.

Regards,
The Rhinoland Safaris Team
