About Rhinoland Safaris

Rhinoland Safaris

WE ARE FAMILY

The Rhinoland Safari Family is based 20 miles east of Lephalale in the Limpopo Province of South Africa on a pristine privately owned nature reserve. Lephalale is located 200 miles northwest of Johannesburg. Rhinoland Safari Lodge is situated in typical African bushveld which varies from open country to very dense bush. Creeks and gullies open into marsh areas which make hunting a unique and real African experience.

The diversity of the terrain supports a large variety of birds and mammals. Animals like elephant, white rhino, nyala, zebra, hippo and the rare black rhino are just some of the wildlife you can encounter.

You will be accommodated in a luxurious game lodge with comfortable air-conditioned chalets with en-suite bathroom surrounding the pool area. There is an open-air bar, lounge and dining area under thatch for your leisure. Excellent cuisine, with personal supervision by a qualified chef and friendly African staff, awaits you.

Your hosts Marius and Heleen together with a team of experienced staff will cater for your every need to ensure a relaxed, exciting and memorable experience.

General Info

What to expect…

WiFi available at the lodge. Telephone and e-mail services are at your disposal as and when required.

If time is of the essence an optional air charter service is available between Johannesburg International Airport and our concession.

For the family, excursions accompanied by your personal game ranger can be arranged to different places of interest such as visits to Sun City and the Lost City, the Kruger National Park, wildlife rehabilitation centres, elephant back safaris and historical venues.

Tropical diseases like malaria and yellow fever can occur in the hunting areas so check with your physician on the necessary preventative medication. At all times we carry a full medical kit but remember to bring along your own personal medication.
